At a Confluence: Anniversary Exhibit

September 5-November 13, 2014 The word “confluence” can be defined in many ways. Sometimes it refers to the point where two rivers join to become one. Sometimes it refers to a gathering of people or ideas, and sometimes it refers to a situation in which two things happen simultaneously. The Confluence, a social enterprise of Cray Youth and Family Services, embraces all three by acting as a community gathering place on the banks of the Neshannock Creek.

As The Confluence nears its 1st anniversary, it was only fitting that the Hoyt chose the word to inspire the current exhibit At A Confluence in the coffee shop’s gallery. The Hoyt has been managing rotating exhibits in this space since November of 2013. The following local artist were recognized for outstanding works:

Third Place: Dominic Joseph Lynn
