Stain Glass Tree is a mixed media work inspired by the black walnut tree
in my backyard during the Winter months. As I looked at the sky showing
through the numerous branches of the tree, I envisioned each of those
spaces occupied by filling each space with a different color. Reminiscent
of an elaborate stain glass window in a cathedral.
