This is a thrown piece of pottery. Thrown means that it is created from a lump of clay on a potter's wheel.

This bowl is approximately 8 inches across and 4 inches deep.

The beauty of this piece is in the glaze. I chose a solid color for the interior and a marbleized coloration for the exterior of this bowl.

It is a nice example of a thrown piece with a remarkable glaze.
