A Bird's Song

As Summer faded into Fall, I was sitting near a window and saw this bird resting on the zinnia. The beauty of that composition inspired me to capture it forever. Was this tiny creature coming, going, resting, or surveying the area for its next meal? [watercolor painted in 2015]
