Uncovering Paleolithic Genius
This is a watercolor, with mixed media, textured with salt to give somewhat
of an appearance of a texture of rock. I believe the original artist painted
these over 40,000 years ago, so I borrowed their interpretation from that
long forgotten prehistoric artist. Embedded in this painting is a rendition
of Leonardo DeVinci’s helicopter drawing on the cave wall. It is a line
drawing visible upon close inspection of this piece. [This watercolor,
with a touch of mixed media, was shown in the fine arts exhibition at
the 2015 Canfield Fair.]
Shown at Sans Moca Gallery 2016
