The Glory of Fall on the Farm

One Fall sunny bright day a few years ago, I was driving around with my camera looking for subject matter to paint when I drove down a local country road and saw this illuminated sight. I quickly pulled my truck over and snapped a photo. I actually started this painting two years ago and finally returned to it to finish it recently. It was one of those paintings an artist really enjoys creating. The neon-like color palette was exciting to mix and even more exciting to put on watercolor paper. I love the colors of Fall and feel bad that it is such a short season. The world is filled with eye candy in the Fall with all the trees and foliage ablaze. [watercolor painted in 2016]
