Ok, I admit I am not and never will be a portrait artist. When I took the watercolor course at Youngstown State University, I had, as one of my assignments for the class, to create a portrait. I dreaded this assignment but thought whose portrait could I do that would make a less of a chore for me so I chose my husband who plays numerous wind instruments in several bands. This will probably be the first and last portrait I ever paint. [Watercolor painted in 2014]
