This painting is a watercolor/mixed media experiment done by the artist. Having a favorite photograph that the artist took of several of her cats peering through a window of a shed, she had the photo printed on watercolor paper. Then, the printed photo was enhanced using waterccolors over the image creating a 3-D effect. This is especially apparent in the flowers in the flower box. The attentiveness of the cats as if they were thinking who is outside the window is well represented.
